How To Give Your Wardrobe A Makeover

Do you feel like you have a lot of clothes but nothing to wear? If you answered yes, then you’re probably in need of a wardrobe revamp because what’s the point of having so many clothes if you’re struggling to find an outfit every day!

The clothes you have in your cupboard right now may be new and of good quality, but you might have too many of the same sort of items. You also might have too many funky colours and prints that don’t mesh well together. Or you might have too many statement pieces that you can’t wear more than once a month without people noticing. So, if this is you, we’ve got you covered.

To revamp your wardrobe, we have to start at the beginning with the basics. You might already have some of them, but if you don’t these, are some we recommend.

1. Jeans

We recommend you get a casual pair like boyfriend jeans (maybe ripped). And then a more elegant option like a dark-washed pair of skinny’s that you can dress up, or dress down depending on your mood.

2. Shorts

We suggest a pair of denim shorts (whatever style suits you best), and a more flowy option in a neutral tone so that it can go with anything you wear.

3. Halter neck tank tops (any neutral colour)

These tanks can easily be dressed up or dressed down. They’re also not as casual as a regular tank top, so if you are having a bit of a lazy, unproductive day, you’ll still look put together.

4. Denim jacket

Denim jackets are the perfect casual outerwear that can be worn throughout the whole year. You can get thinner ones that are better for summer, and thicker ones better for winter, but having just one standard denim jacket will be enough.

5. Leather jacket

A smarter outerwear option that can also be worn relatively casually is a leather jacket. Leather jackets can add sophistication to a somewhat plain outfit or can tie together an already smart look.

6. White sneakers

White sneakers pretty much go with everything, from shorts, jeans, long pants to even skirts and dresses!
