Red Bull Dance Your Style National winner Shannon ‘Shanny J’ Kivido recently took over the DHL Stormers training ground, not to show the Western Cape players how to handle a rugby ball but to demonstrate some fancy footwork the players could apply off the field.
After securing the title at the national Red Bull Dance Your Style final held in Cape Town, Shanny J spent some time with players from professional rugby team, the DHL Stormers – also based in Cape Town, on how to impress on the dance floor.

“My experience with the DHL Stormers was nothing but amazing. They were so much fun, they participated and were so eager to dance and learn more about Red Bull Dance Your Style. I really enjoyed every minute with them,” said Shanny.
DHL Stormers player Seabelo Senatla added: “It was great to have Shanny at our training session to show us some of her moves and teach the boys a thing or two about fancy footwork. We are right behind her in the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final and wish her all of the best as she represents South Africa.”

Next week, Shanny J will be competing alongside some of the world’s best street dancers in the Red Bull Dance Your Style – World Final which will be held at Montecasino, in Johannesburg.
